Pakistan Buddhist Pilgrimage tour
Visit the holy sites of Buddhist period in Pakistan. Pakistan is the land where Ashoka ruled from. Ashoka built the city of Taxila, which became the majoreducation center of Buddhisam. Sanskirat was invented in Pakistan. All rules of Buddhist religion were made in Pakistan. We many stupas and monasteries from the Ashoka period (275BC to the Last kings of Kashan dynasty (6th century AD). This tour will take you to all important places of Buddhism in Pakistan.
Day 01
Meet on arrival in Lahore transfer to hotel one Lahore (3 star). Overnight at hotel.
Day 02
Morning tour of Lahore visit the Lahore museum which houses the most holy relic of Buddha the “fasting Buddha” also see some of the most admired Gandhara sculptors. We will also visit the Lahore fort and Badshahi mosque. Afternoon free for shopping in Lahore overnight at hotel.
Day 03
Drive to Peshawar on arrival transfer to Grand hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 04
Morning visit the Peshawar museum and bazaar afternoon excursion to Charsadha stupa overnight at hotel.
Day 05
Drive to Swat via ShahbazGari and Takht Bhai overnight at Serena hotel.
Day 06
Visit the Swat museum which houses some of the finnest collection of Buddhist sculptures. Later visit Butkara Stupa and Monastery which once housed the orignal Ashes of Buddha overnight at hotel.
Day 07
Drive to Islamabad enroute visit the Shingardar Stupa and Taxila. In Taxila visit, the Dharmarajika Stupa and Julian Monastery overnight at envoy continental hotel.
Day 08
Morning tour of Islamabad Shopping etc Afternoon transfer to airport for flight
